IUI Success?

Over from the TTC after a loss board... 

3dpiui...I'm feeling good! Overall our first month of IUI went better than I could have expected. Clomid days 3-7...On Friday 08/03 (CD 11), I had to go to RE for an ultrasound to ensure mature follicle growth and confirm lining was still intact. I had 2.5 mature egg on my left ovary and 1.7 and 1.2 on my right ovary. They instructed me to go home and inject Ovidrel after 9pm. The following morning Saturday and Sunday, we completed two IUI treatments. I just started the progesterone suppositories last night.

Just wanted to share my experience thus far...I'm excited but trying not to go overboard in fear of more disappointment.

 Anyone have success from IUI? I know no two women are the same but I would love to hear success stories!

    I will tentatively say I am having success.  Just got a BFP after IUI #6.  Unfortunately, it took a lot of IUIs and a m/c in the mix, but it worked!  FX this is your cycle!!
    Dx: LPD, late ovulation;
     July 2012:IUI #6 on 7/28, BFP on 8/9,beta 97, 8/11 189, 8/13 400!!   DS born 4/18!
    9/30/13 - Miracle BFP, released from RE 10/21, EDD 6/6/14, DD born 5/27!
    6/19/16 - Miracle BFP, EDD 2/25/17

    IUI #4 was successful for us. There have been several bfp's recently on TTTC from IUI. Good luck on your cycle!

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    I became pregnant on IUI cycle #2 with clomid.

    Good luck!

    2/12: 100 mg Clomid + Bravelle last minute+ back to back IUI. BFN
    3/12 150mg Clomid + B2B IUI =BFP!! TWINS!
    Vanishing twin at week 6
    Tater-tot born January 3rd 2013

    2 IUI's in 2016- BFN
    3 IUI's in 2017- BFN
    8/17 IUI BFP!!!!!!!!

    IUI #3 worked for me.  Best of luck.....the first cycle is a little un-nerving as not sure about the symptoms are coming from the Ovidrel or because you are pregnant.  I think I POAS everyday because I felt so bad (bad cramps, nausea, headaches).

    I got pregnant from an IUI/Clomid cycle.  Good luck to you! 
    IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
    2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
    BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
    Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
    BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    I got my BFP from my 5th IUI which was a clomid/bravelle hybrid cycle.  Good luck to you!
    DX: Anovulation
    TX: IUI #1-4 = BFN + 1 c/p
    IUI #5: Clomid 100mg + Bravelle + Trigger + B2B IUIs + 800mg Progesterone = BFP!

    I got pregnant from IUI #2 while on Follistim.  It was a huge shock and I still can't believe it.  I am 11 weeks now.

    Yep - my gorgeous son who is 11 weeks today is a result of IUI #3.  Details are in my siggy.  Hang in there and keep the faith!
