Size Help...Carters

I am looking at the Kohls site and thinking ahead to fall/winter for our daughter.

For those who know Carters sizing and with *bigger* babies, what size do you think makes sense for fall/winter??

18-24 months. E is a large baby and she is now in 12 months. I would opt for larger sizes especially with all the layering for cooler temps.

A has a ton of Carter's clothes. I ordered her a few (end of) summer things and all fall things in 12 months and originally figured by winter maybe Dec & definitely Jan she would be in 18 months, so winter/spring/summer for next year I ordered all 18 months. She is not overly chubby but very solid and weighs somewhere in the 20lb range (not sure of height) and she's almost out of her 9 month clothes already and starting on the 12 month stuff, which I wasn't anticipating for another month or so. I think she will be in 18 months by November, but it all depends obviously on how fast she keeps growing. I have a feeling her growth might slow a bit in the next month or 2 so we might be Ok.

For a bigger baby I would probably say 18 months for fall/winter stuff. What size is she in now?

i think DD is on the bigger side. right now she is in some 9 months in carters & some 12 month pj's b/c she is very long. i boguth mostly 18 months but some 24 months for the end of the winter just in case.

My DD is 8mos and in 12-18 month now so I have been buying 18-24 month for winter and fall. She is also 25lbs and like 30inches tho.

This. E is a bigger baby too (21lbs 28 inches at 6 month) and he already fits 12 month really well, and even has some 18 month summer stuff that fits just fine.

She's wearing 12 month stuff now ( just started wearing them about 2 weeks ago) I figure she'll fit into them until early October. Then I'll probably be buying 12-18 month stuff. She was 17 pounds and 28 inches at her 6 month appt.

DS is a "bigger" baby. We measured and weighed him yesterday, at 8 months, and he was 22lbs 12 oz and 29 in. I've been mainly getting 18 mo for fall/winter, but I'm in TX so chances are we won't be layering much. DS is in some 9 mo now and some 12 mo. The 18 mo stuff I've bought looks huge right now!

FWIW I have a few Carter's 9 mo things that seem bigger than the 12 mo

Carter's is pretty true to the weight/height limits on their sizes, so I'd just go based on that. And remember, they will grow much slower from here on out. So while they have been going through sizes like crazy since they were born, that won't be the case (for the most part).
