How many hours are you averaging a night for YOUR sleep? Do you get a big block of it, or do you sleep for an hour here and there?
Speaking of sleep (or trying not to), I watch TV while feeding LO during the wee hours. I'm watching series-gotten through all of Dexter, Weeds, and Game of Thrones. Give me a series you like-I'm running out of ideas!
Re: speaking of sleep, how are YOU doing?
if i got help in the night, id get a lot more. Im getting angry. Not once has hubby offered to get up or even offer to take her for a few hours in the day to let me sleep. I slept on the couch last night so He could get a full nights sleep and so I could have ammo to hang over his head today lol
I get about a 4 hr block, then amup every 2 hours after than
i have been flying through Arrested Development on netflix. i've seen all the episodes already, but they are the BEST so they distract me nicely lol
It really depends on DD's mood, but usually I sleep in 2-4 hour stretches. On a typical night, she'll go down around 10 and wake up to eat at 2 and 6. Sometimes at 6 she'll go down for another couple hours, sometimes not. Sometimes I get lucky and she eats at 4 and 8 instead of 2 and 6 so I'm not up at the ass crack of dawn.
I love Weeds and Dexter! I think you might have the same TV taste as me. Did you ever watch Nip/Tuck? It's been over for a while but the entire series is on Netflix. You might also try The Walking Dead on AMC. Best. show. ever. Not sure if you can stream episodes though. If you have DVR you can record reruns, they have marathons where you can get the whole series recorded in a day.
The last few nights I've slept in 2 hr blocks, which is much better than the maybe 1.5 hr blocks I was getting before. So there's progress!
She usually does about a 3.5-4 hour sleep between 11:00-3:00am. So that is heaven. I'll get back to sleep around 4:30 and then she'll be up around 5:30...and then if I manage to get back to sleep, she'll be up between 7:00-8:00 and wide awake.
I usually manage a 1-2 hour nap during the day, which helps.
I like the 3:00am feeding because it is the only quiet time with her (DH's family is here). But I hate that she gets up by 6:00am, haha. I wish I could sleep in a little more.
For TV series, have you watched "Breaking Bad"? It's a good show and they have it on Netflix. I also just watched "Lost" on netflix.
