Lump & Bruise

A month ago, on 7/9, DS had his 6 month shots.  He *still* has a lump and a bruise on his right thigh where the shots were administered.  I called the pedi's office and advised them of it, and they told me that it was completely normal and as long as it didn't turn red, get hot or seem to cause him pain... it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

Just curious if anyone else noticed this on their LO?  It seems odd to me.

    I remember DS's 4 month shots he had a lump on his legs probably for a good 3 weeks or so. They suggested rubbing the spots a few times after he got his next shots, and he didn't get any lumps this time.
