So I was thrown a surprise shower last week from my students at work! It was so sweet! Anyway, any advice on how many towels and blankets is sufficient? Am going shopping (8hrs away) next weekend and want to get most things I am lacking while there. I have 6 towels so I know I am safe there (Was thinking will I ever use 6 hooded towels!?). I have 5 blankets and 3 receiving blankets. I am sure you can never have enough, just wondered what other moms thought. TIA
Re: Blankets and towels
That should be plenty. Besides, blankets and towels are common baby gifts from people so you will probably get a few more by the time LO arrives.
With DD I had 3 blankets, and maybe 5 receiving blankets and it was more then enough. I had a 5 pack of washcloths and about 5 towels and it was fine. I never ran out.
Besides, even though the baby is tiny, you will be somehow doing laundry ALL the time. I don't know how we ended up having to do so much laundry with just one extra person in the house!
