breakdowns galore today

I had my annual exam today and had a full-fledged panic attack at the doctor's office.  By the time I got back to the exam room, I was having the internal dialogue of "I'm having a heart attack no it can't be a heart attack I know but what if it is a heart attack" with tears streaming down my face.  My sweet, sweet doctor came in and wanted the update on my infertility and my [lack of] progress with the RE.

Oh, and the only other patients in the waiting room were two teen moms there with their mothers and teen boyfriends. 

On the plus side, my pap smear & pelvic exam qualify as the least intrusive procedure I've had done in about a year and a half.

    (Hugs) Panic attacks are incredibly scary. I hope you've released some tension now.

    OTOH. You're really good at looking at the bright side of things.

    Oy.  The OBGYN is a minefield of emotions.  I'm sorry that it was a rough visit.  Glad you have a sympathetic dr.  It really helps.

    Aww big hugs Owl. Only had a panic attack once and I hope I never have another one. Hope your home now chillin.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Me: 37 DH: 37 TTC since Jan 2012. RE consult and initial testing done in Aug 2012: SA fine, AMH 1.1 & HSG clear - on way to IUI but got BFP on 9/10/2012. m/c 10/3/2012 at 6w5d. BFP next cycle which was a c/p. IUI #1: Clomid 100mg 12/6= BFN. IUI#2 (unmedicated) Jan 2013 = BFN. Hysteroscopy 1/25/13. IUI#3 Clomid 100mg 2/23 = BFN IUI# 4: BFN. IVF #1 April 2013, BFP!  EDD 1/12/14 with Boy!

    I'm so sorry you had all that going on! It is nice when the doctor can offer some support and an ear to listen.  {Hug}

    Thanks. ladies.  I enjoyed a nice cold Lone Star beer and watched the finale of Dallas last night, and I feel much better!  Now there is a whole 364 days until I have to go through it again!

    Me: 36, DH: 42
    Dx: DOR and MFI

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
    DE IVF #2 (shared cycle with new donor - Nov/Dec/ 2012): - BFP!!!!! 12/14/12. U/S on 12/27 shows twins!!!!!
