40 lbs..down 20

Hey everyone. i gained 40-45 lbs with my recent pregnancy. now i am 3 weeks post cesarean and lost around 20 already-prob water weight. is there still more water weight to lost in next few weeks?

I just joined weight watchers AND i am nursing. think its possible to lose 20 lbs in next 2- 3 months???

Desperate to get back into regular clothes. maternity is too big and reg clothes too small! eek!

  • Yeah, that was frustrating.  The worst isn't the weight, its the weird jelly belly.  I gained 35, lost 20 in the first 2 weeks, and another 5 in the last 2 months.  HOWEVER, I have been able to squeeze into my non-maternity fat pants since 4 weeks PP.

It is possible.  I gained 35 pounds with DD2 and lost 30 of it by 12 weeks. Most of it was gone by 6 weeks. From two pregnancies I will tell you the last 5 pounds was the hardest.

  • It's possible but really hard.  I averaged loosing 1 lb per week and that was working out 5 days a week and being really strict with food.  be patient , that's what i had to remind myself.  my belly is still not where i want it to be 16 months later

  • Yes, it?s possible. Just make sure that you follow a weight loss plan that is healthy and nutritious. NO starving. A low-carb, high protein diet has been known to really help!
