Anyone else had galbladder issues due to pregnancy?

When I was pregnant with DS about 29 weeks I found out I had galstones, (they hurt pretty bad), well both me & my dr agreed that if my galbladder didn't have to be immediately removed that he'd prefer for me to wait til I had LO. Well now he's been born & I was planning on trying to wait til November to remove my galbladder but it wouldn't wait so I had it removed yesterday...and recovering I'm definitely sore..

 But I was wondering if anyone else had or is having galbladder issues due to pregnancy?

    Yep, had mine out at 5 weeks pp.  mine was emergency surgery b/c of an errant stone that was blocking the common bile duct causing liver & pancreas problems.

    My galbladder was terrible first and second tri, but I got it under control through strict diet in 3rd and now its been fine... I don't plan to have it removed.

    I am having mine taken out tomorrow morning.  Sad I have to have surgery but so relieved it is coming out because the pain is unbearable.

    Good luck...I'm on my 1st day of recovery...and I'll be honest its going to be rough...but the hardest part of everything is not picking up my son...surgeon says nothing over 10lbs & my son weighed 10lbs over 6 weeks ago...so I can only have him sit on my lap! And I will definitely not miss the pain!

    I had mine removed Tuesday.  Went to the ER Monday around 2 am, had the surgery Tuesday afternoon.  The pain is much worse than I thought it would be but is getting better.  On my mom's side all of the women have had their gallbladders removed after having children.
