Follow up appt today

I'm on my way to my follow-up appt and feeling pretty nervous about what I'll learn. We opted not to have an autopsy done, but they did run some bloodwork and examine the placenta. I think I'm also just nervous about seeing my midwife for the first time since I delivered Julian. Luckily I am seeing her in a different office than where I went for my prenatal visits.

    Good luck at your appointment. I hope you find some answers. I was nervous too about seeing my OB, but she ended up being very sweet and have an even deeper respect for her.

    The appt went well-it was nice to see (and get a good hug from) my midwife. No answers as to what may have caused Julian's death. Good news is there doesn't seem to be anything to cause problems in future pregnancies.

    I am glad to see your appointment went well.  Although I am sorry they were not able to provide you with more answers, it sounds like you have a great outlook for future pregnancies.  Wishing you the best!
