I am thinking of getting this carrier when my baby arrives.
I am thinking of using it at times around the house, and out walking or shopping.
Does anyone have any experience with it? Would you recommend it? Is it a good carrier to use with a newborn?
TIA!

Re: Babyhawk Mei Tai
Loved it for newborn and up to 10-12 months (my DS got heavy!).
It didn't make the cut when I downsized possession and was trying to get out of debt. I sold it and kept my Moby and Ergo.
Hindsight: wish I had sold the Moby and kept the BabyHawk. Moby was only good for me to 3-4 months.
Look! I put the diaper on the baby!
I'm a big babyhawk fan and think they are excellent for newborns. You can easily roll the bottom and use a ribbon to cinch the width if you want to wear your newborn legs out.
It was my gateway drug carrier ;-)

I couldn't live without our baby hawk. Its so easy and quick to use and unlike the moby it doesn't get super hot from all the excess fabric. I am still comfortably wearing my son at 11 months and 23 lbs.
Good luck!
