Why does my job make me cry?

I'm seriously sick of being so frustrated that I cry over this job.?

On that note, lunch is over.?

  • Time to find a new job!

  • And that, my dear, is why I no longer teach.

  • 'cause teachers don't get paid anywhere NEAR enough $$.  That, and teenagers generally suckass.  Sorry.
  • Because teaching is SO stressful.  You go home thinking about teaching, you lay in bed thinking about teaching.  What can you do for this class, this kid, this situation.  It is a job that NEVER stops.

  • You cry b/c you care. And you are a good teacher.

If your heart wasn't in it, you wouldn't care, wouldn't cry and could quit w/o looking back.

Hang in there. There are few jobs as frustrating- yet equally rewarding- as teaching.

  • Both of my parents are teachers, and it is truly a stressful job.  You cry because you care.  It's not like an office job where if you don't do something right the company loses money or something.  YOu are affecting kids' lives, and that is a heavy responsibility.  Hang in there!
  • Mine makes me cry too. I get so frustrated.
  • My first thought was: because you are a teacher!!  It is a hard job.
  • Thanks ladies. ?

    ?

I am sitting here sad because I know the decision I had to make today is really going to disappoint my students. ?

They look forward to cooking, and my hot water heater is 'broken'. ? Therefore, they cannot cook.?
