CPW: You & DH

So, when I couldn't sleep in the wee hours of the morning, I was sitting around thinking of clicky polls.

I apologize for the terrible phrasing.

Re: CPW: You & DH

  • We both don't really care, I think there has just been so much drama about it that we are both done.

  • I think I'm more liberal, but neither one of us is overly political.

  • DH is much more conservative than me and much more into politics than I am. He's even IN politics in our town, working the polls, going to conventions, and yesterday he ran for [and won] his first "election". It's not a big title but it puts him in position to "move up" should he wish too.

  • I wouldn't say I *like* politics, but I do my research and/or vote.  DH could care less... it just makes him angry. Ha!

  • DH and I vote opposite.  He's more liberal than he'll admit, but he still votes republican no matter what.  I almost always vote democrat (I have yet to have a candidate sway me another way).

So - I generally try not to remind DH to vote since it annoys me that he's just going to cancel out my vote and I  hope he'll forget.  But we always end up doing it anyway.

  • My DH and I are both extremely liberal but there are certain areas where we do not agree, mostly concerning gun rights and other social issues.

  • We are both moderate Dems.  However, I absolutely hate politics.  SO loves it.  I'm glad because one of us should pay attention.

  • I'd say we're both somewhere left of moderate, but my husband is WAY more into politics than me. I look at it as.. I believe what I believe and others believe what they believe and I doubt anything I say will really change anyone's mind, so why bother? I just vote for who I agree with most and go on with my life. My husband will go back and forth with his family, friends, anyone who wants to debate.
