DD and I are going flying to CO this month to visit my parents. I am bringing our PNP for her to sleep in. At home, she sleeps in her crib. In the event that she refuses to sleep in her PNP, can she sleep in the bed with me, and if so, how? She rolls, sits, crawls, is almost standing on her own - in other words, VERY mobile. How do I keep her from falling off the bed? Or from climbing all over me, for that matter.
Hopefully, she'll sleep well in her PNP. (fingers crossed)

DD never liked the PNP and all of our family lives out of state so we were faced with this problem quite a few times. An air mattress on the ground worked well and if that wasn't an option then we slept DH/me/baby/wall on the bed. If we had a large enough bed I was comfortable with LO sleeping "between" us, but in reality it was DH at one end of the bed and me at the other end cuddled up with DD.
Hopefully you're worrying for nothing though and your LO will sleep soundly in the PNP

I nurse my 10month in bed but I put her right back in her crib now. She sits, stands, crawls rolls etc. I just don't feel it's safe anymore. She slept with us for a few months but she sleeps better on her own.
Could you put her in the pack-n-play at home before you go...you know to practice sleeping? Make it exactly how it will be during your vacation so she is used to it.
