We're starting to think about moving our 9 weeks old out of our bed and into a pack and play beside our bed, does anyone have any tips for making the transition easier?
She hates being swaddled and still startles herself awake a lot, I usually just snuggle her back to sleep. She also really likes to snuggle and usually wakes up if she can't find me.

I would expect to not get much sleep camping.
Sorry, there isn't a magic way to change what your baby needs to feel safe and secure. You can try the usual things - put something that smells like you in with her, swaddle, make sure she's not too hot or cold. But my baby never slept as well away from me as he did with me, at least until he was around 6+ months.
