My poor Danica has such a diaper rash

either she has a bug or its because she is getting all of her eye teeth at once but she has been having the most sour smelling diarrhea and she woke up with it in her diaper.  She is so red and it hurts her when I have to wipe it.  She has been getting warm baths, I try to let it air dry and put tons of cream so her pee doesnt touch it.  I feel awful for her

    Aww that sucks :( Have you tried that super diaper rash recipe that gets shared on here a lot?

    I used to think it was just one of those things that people blame everything on teething to get diarrhea. DS2 however, has proven that wrong to me. He only has 2 teeth so far and he had diarrhea with *terrible* diaper rash for over a week when each tooth was breaking through.

    I hope she feels better soon!

    Aww....poor girl!  My DD had a really bad diaper rash last week. I mix up Aquaphor and Malox. Works like a charm!!

    diaper rashes hurt way worse than they sound.  i've used aquaphor and corn starch.  i've also heard of putting corn starch in the bathwater.

    We use butt paste, and lather it on really thick. It's the only thing that's worked great for us.

    If it's really raw try regular corn starch that you cook with.  Just sprinkle a ton on her.  It helps dry it out.
