I'm loving my time off with my little girl and I am wondering, when does everyone plan on having another? I loved being pregnant and I love having lil' Tatum even more than being pregnant. I am thinking about TTC with the hopes of having LO's 2 yrs apart from one another.

Re: When does everyone plan on having another?
I will be 40 in March, and want a sibling for DD, so we are going to try ASAP. I've already consulted with my RE, and as soon as AF returns, we'll be getting started. We hope to cycle before the end of the year.
It's not the timeline I would have chosen, but based on my age, it's the best option if we are going to have another child. Luckily, DD has been an absolutely wonderful child so far (minimal crying/fussing and STTN since just over 6 weeks), so it makes having 2U2 seem far less daunting.
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13
DH thinks everything has just been a breeze and wants to try right away. I, on the other hand, will be off for a year and when I go back I need to accrue enough time to get another year off (I don't want to have to go back early just to make sure I have enough insurable hours in for another mat leave). DS has been very easy so far, although we all have a feeling he's going to be a very active baby in no time. I loved my pregnancy and labour/delivery and totally want to do it all again, but I honestly don't know how I would devote "enough" attention to two babies close together. I know you just figure it out, but I definitely don't feel like I'm ready or will be ready for that any time soon - maybe when DS is 2 we'll start trying again.
The only thing I'm hesitant about is that we always talked about having at least 2, maybe 3 kids, but with each day that passes, I feel more and more like my family is full and complete. So I think when DS is 2, we'll revisit unless I have a change of heart and am ready to try again before that.
This is me exactly. I am 37 and with our ob's blessing are trying as soon as af returns. I also would have liked to have had more time between children but based on my age and how long it took to conceive dd we need to start asap.
DD sttn and has a very mellow disposition so I am also less scared of 2u2 (though 2u1 scares the hell out of me

Our two DD's are almost 3 years apart and I think that is my ideal spacing. IF and it is a big IF we have another...it won't be until 2-3 years.
Our first daughter was a very easy baby. So naturally I thought our second would be as well. NOT THE CASE! This child is colicky and has mspi issues. She is a lot more work add that ontop of taking care of DD1 and I am a busy momma. The thought of a third baby isn't even on my radar at the moment.
Goodbye little angel(7/22/2011)....see you in heaven
Goodbye my second angel (9/18/2011)
I am going to be 36 next month, and we want another, so we are not planning on waiting too long. My DH would love to have another one next summer but I told him he is insane!
Instead, we are not planning on doing any birth control beyond breastfeeding, which I plan to do for one year. So whenever my fertility returns as dd starts to eat more solids, we'll be trying!
We're going for Irish twins!
This. Or when DD is potty trained.
They will hopefully be about 3 years apart, but it could be more. I'd like to have one sooner, but I really want to finish school first, and since I'm only doing it part time, it will be a while.
