Anyone's LO down to one nap?

My son will be 11 months in 5 days.  He's resisting his second nap big time, and wouldn't take it yesterday.  But it just seems way too early for one nap.  He'd have to do 6 hours of awake time in the am and in the pm before bed time.  Yikes!

Any insights?

    Could it be that his awake time is increasing so now you're putting him down too early?

    My LO has been down to one nap for a few weeks. He is up at 7ish in the morning, naps from roughly noon until 2 and has a 7:30ish bedtime at night. So it's only five hours of awake time or so.

    my son is not a fan of morning nap, we do quiet time in the crib and then he will take a 2 hr nap at 12:30 or 1:00. bed time is at 7 or 7:30. every once in a blue moon if his teeth are killing him and we gave him teething tablers or motrin he will take a 2 hr morning nap and a two hour afternoon nap.

    I found that DD recently can go longer between her two naps.  She was doing 3hrs and now I do 3.5 and that has helped.  I have also read that due to all the developmental things happening at this age there is a common nap disturbance that may seem like a transition but really isn't.  I am planning to hang on to two naps a couple more months if possible.

    My LO's been down to one nap most days since about 5 months. He sleeps 12-14 hrs at night, so one 1-2 hr nap in the afternoon has always been enough for him with the odd exception. He's a happy baby and we never struggle to get him to bed, so it works for us.

    My Lo is down to 1 nap  usually 1.5 to 2 hours, sometimes only 1 hour.  She usually sleeps 10-11 hours at night.  Sometimes i think she needs another nap but she isnt cranky at all
