Shoes

Hi ladies.  DD is 10 months old and is just starting to walk so I'm thinking about getting her some shoes.  I've heard the soft, flexible ones are best.  Does anyone have some they recommend and if so where did you get them?  Thanks!

    I bought LO the momo baby ones. I bought them off of zulily but you can find them on amazon too i think

    We always do barefoot as much as possible. Once it gets really chilly, we do Robees or the cheeper ones from Target, I think MiniStar is the brand. They're more like slippers than shoes and seem to stay on better than socks. Something with a soft, flexible sole is best.

    I personally think Robeez are ugly. So I just shopped around for soft sole shoes when she first started walking. Then they had Jemos on Babysteals so I got her a pair of black mary janes. She wears them almost everyday. We just bought her 2 pairs of Striderite shoes but they are a little big.

    Robeez are good. You can get them at Stride Rite, or pretty much most department stores or online.

    Robeez, Smaller by See Kai Run, Pedipeds and Livie and Luca are our favorites for soft soled shoes.

    Glad I'm not the only one! My kid will not wear Robeez.

    I just had to LOL at this.  Forget what is best for your child's developing motor skills, just go with what looks good.

    It is best for your child to be barefooted while learning to walk.  However, our daycare requested that we start putting DS in shoes and recommended the soft soled ones like Robeez.  I also wanted him to get used to having something on his feet since he had been barefoot since May.  I ordered a pair of Robeez online and he hasn't fussed about them at all.  I couldn't imagine putting him in a stiff pair of shoes at this age.

    Thanks ladies!  DD goes barefoot at home, but she's starting daycare and I wanted something flexible for her to wear there.  I ordered some Robeez online so we'll see how DD does with them.  Thanks for the recommendations!
