Autism & oxalates

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Do oxalates in high quantities supposedly cause autism? Or are people diagnosed with autism supposed to avoid oxalates?

Also, by what age do symptoms of autism show up? And is it possible fir them to show up any time?

Oxalates don't cause autism, but many with autism tend to test high on oxalates. Reducing foods that are high in oxalates in your diet could ease up certain symptoms, according to our DAN.
