Well yesterday was interesting!
I woke up in the morning to what i thought was heartburn, so i took my omeprazole that i normally take and laid back down. ( I was diagnosed with GERD roughly 2 years ago). Once i woke up again the pain seem to have gotten a bit more severe, i could barely walk. I tried to get into the shower (thats what i normally do and it calms the back and stomach pain) But as soon as i stepped foot in my stomach started throbbing to the point where i could not breathe at all. My stomach kept getting really really tight and loosening, so at that point i was having a panic attack, thinking i was having contractions...
Boyfriend rushed me to the hospital and well found out that i have had gallstones this WHOLE time, and not gerd. So i've been taking unnecessary medication for quite some time.
So at this point i've been put on a very low fat diet because of where the stone is. Which is causing spasms.
I will have to get my gallbladder removed, but we are trying to wait until the pregnancy is over, unless it gets that severe again!
UGH! Can i get a break?

I'm just happy the baby is okay. That's what mattered most to me. I've never been so scared in my life, i really really thought that he was going to come out!
Just praying i don't have any more issues, because getting the surgery now would be risky for the baby.
My mom had that when she was preggo with my brother. She was able to wait it out and had surgery when he was 3mos old. And that was 25yrs ago....just imagine....it was the full cut across her stomach....with a 3.5yr old and new born.
Good luck! I hope it doesn't act up again on you.
