Any suprise babys? & Intro

Hi everyone! My name is Darylin. I'm 23 and my boyfriend Jake is 25. We have been together 2 years and plan on spending the rest of our lives together. We are extremely in love but were shocked when I got pregnant on birth control. It was a tough first couple of weeks but every day we come to terms with it more and get more and more excited! Anyone else have a suprise baby? Anyway, I'm 7 weeks 3 days pregnant.. due March 21, 2013!

    This is a surprise baby for us too! I was also on birth control & we used the pull out method. We have came to terms and are so excited to welcome our third.

    This is #3 for us and a surprise baby for my DH and I. I was on nuvaring. We have a 6 yr old and a 16 month old.

    Welcome!! This is our first, and a big surprise. We've been married for 9 weeks and I'm 9 weeks pregnant. Whoops!

    I'm in a similar situation. I'm 21 and 9 weeks, 1 day pregnant with my first, due on March 9. A HUGE surprise. I have not had a period in 3 years, so I didn't even realize I was pregnant until the morning sickness started! Honestly, I didn't even know I COULD get pregnant. I am still a full-time student and 3 semesters out from graduating with my bachelor's. My fiance has also fallen of the wagon and is back in rehab. This couldn't have happened at a more inconvenient time. I am so blessed to have the support of my family to help me through this. I don't know what I'd do without them! I know how you feel about coming to terms with it more and more.... it took me a long time to begin to get past the shock and feel like it was real.... still working on it a little!

    Surprise for us too.  DH was told that he has a low enough sperm count that it would be extremely unlikely that we'd conceive on our own without help. We both went through baseline fertility testing to get the full picture of our options and - surprise!  2 months later we have a natural baby on board.

    Ours is a surprise. I can't take hormonal BC and didn't feel comfortable having something inserted. I had my first in April of 2011 and was successfully tracking my period/when we had sex for 15 months. Well I guess I messed up and now we're pregnant. One of us will get "fixed" after this LO.

    My BF and I have been together for a mere 9 months, and we are expecting.

    I tried for 3 years to get pregnant in my first marriage, 2 years with fertility and it never happened. I genuinely thought I would never be pregnant.

    I was on the pill, and low and behold - surprise!

    I am still in a bit of disbelief that it happened, a little scared to be expecting, but I am also excited. Babies are miracles.

    My wonderful BF has been so affectionate and kind since we found out. But he's still having a hard time adjusting to the idea of being a father. He will be 30 in October, and I just turned 26. We both have stable jobs, he owns the home we live in, and both go to school. This is a roller coaster, but one day at a time, I hope our fear turns into joy as we embrace this journey together.

    This was a surprise for us, too.  I got pregnant my first month trying but at 5 weeks, I lost the baby.  So, I go back to drinking alcohol, eating feta and goat cheese, and so on, and we're absolutely devastated that we lost the baby.  Well, 3 weeks go by and I still haven't had any bleeding whatsoever, so I'm thinking that I'm going to have to get a D&C or take cytotec to remove the tissue.  I go into the doctor and she says that I'm 6 weeks pregnant.  WHAT???!!!!  We are extremely exceedingly happy but this is a complete miracle baby because, according to the ultrasounds and dating the baby, I got pregnant with this baby while I was already pregnant at 4 weeks with the 1st baby.  My husband keeps saying that he's the ultimate man.  :)

    Congrats!  My name is Kari and I also am 23. My boyfriend and I have beening dating for almost 2 years, we were really surprised that we are expecting cuz I was on B/C since I was 16 yrs old and I am always on time with it, I have changed over the years so maybe this one just did work for me but we are pretty excited I am currently 10 weeks and have my first appointment this wed.

    Congrats and Welcome!  This baby is a surprise, too.  I am very excited about it and DH is coming around on the idea of having three kids Smile

    Married to J since 5/05, Mommy to T (10/08), L (08/10) and C (02/13) who was born at home.

    I'm a little late, but welcome! Surprise here as well! I was on the nuvaring, and DH and I have only been married for 4 months... planned on waiting at least 4 years! ;) Apparently God had other plans... :)

    Our LO was a surprise too... We weren't really preventing, but we were definitely not trying. (I went off of BC in Jan. 12 after 6 months of no periods, which was not supposed to happen on that BC.  I was too nervous of getting pregnant and not knowing because no period was so normal).  I thought I would have issues conceiving because of hormonal imbalances before BC. 

    But here we are!! 8 weeks, due March 17 :)

    I'm glad your fiance headed back to rehab.  I hope this is his last relapse and you guys have a beautiful life together!

     

    I'm so excited for all of you!  This baby wasn't a surprise, but our first was.  I was 20 (dh, then fiance was 25) and we were tta via calendar/pull-out.  I was really good at that method, but for whatever reason, I lost my mind that month and thought I was a week past O, when in fact it was O-day the day dh asked me to play hookie from work and hang out with him.  lol  He walked around with his chin on the floor for 3 days after we found out, but he perked up and he's an awesome dad!  We had planned on waiting for a few years too.  Dh STILL jokes that I tricked him, though he knows that isn't true.  lol
