Whatever happened to loop handled spoons?

I have wasted way too much time today googling around for baby spoons with loop handles.  All I can find are metal ones.  When my sisters were babies (they're 12 years younger than me) they used plastic spoons that had loop handles, which were great because they were easy for babies to hold and hard for them to poke/gag themselves with.  I wanted to get one for DS but I cannot find any for sale in the US that are not metal.  Weird.

    And now I have, too. I can see that Sassy used to make them, but no one seems to carry them anymore. Everyone has switched to the fat handled kind.

    I actually emailed Sassy Baby to see what happened to theirs.  Clearly I am avoiding my workload today at the office.  :)

    I never used those but I do remember them. I hate it when they stop making something. I could not ind the nabisco's zwiebeck toast the other day. I found out they discontinued it.

    I remember the zwiebeck toast!  I looked for that when DD was teething.
