Everyone in my family is named after someone. I was named after my great grandma, and Jack was named and my great grandpa. So if it's a girl her name will be Emily Ann after my grandma. If it's a boy Robert will be the middle name (my dad's name is Robert but we don't have much to do with him so he will be named after DH's great grandpa Robert). Right now we are leaning towards Daniel, David, or Samuel but that may change. I'm pretty certain it's a girl so I'm not overly concerned.

My due date got moved to the 15th.

For a girl we love Caroline and Grace. For a boy who the heck knows - we like Graham, Coleman, Campbell, Bowen, Griffin and Nolan. Not totally in love with any of the boy names though. At least we have 7 months to work it out!

No names yet, but I predict many name battles in my husband and I's future. My MIL has been so "kind" to give us a list of names she likes though.

Name Ideas? Our favorite for a girl is Quinn, and I have decided that if it is a boy I will let my husband name him. He has a few different ideas... lol. We'll see!

We're having a few battles already when it comes to names. DH thinks June is a boy name and Jude is a girl name. I've given up on Jude, but I'm pushing for June still. Her mn will be Lillian after my grandma and I think the boy's mn will be Albert after DH's dad, but I'm not sure about that one.

We've only had one name discussion so far (and I have made a list of names I like). We got in an argument during that discussion because he said a name and I responded with "Nah, that name sounds like my ex-boyfriend's name, so that would not be a good one." Bad thing to say I guess! I know now it was a little dumb for me to say, I could've just said "no", but what the heck?! If he had said it to me I would have been like "yeah you're right, probably not a good one!" and laughed. So anyway, haven't even touched the subject since. Don't want Mr. Sensitive to blow a fuse again, lol.

We use family middle names, but pick first names that we like. We prefer known but not common first names. Anyway, we've had the boy name picked out since our first, but girl names are harder for us to agree on, so we started debating girl names after the birth of our second daughter and it took us two years to finally agree on one again, lol.

Anyway, our picks are:

Gabriel Dean (Gabriel is DH's first pick for a boy's name, and Dean is DH's grandfather's middle name)

Heather Elaine (Elaine is DH's grandmother's middle name)

Can you update my due date? I had an u/s and it got moved back to March 16th :-) Thanks! Oh and Maggie Jo is 8 months now!

As for names since we are on #3 our list of names we like has gone down some haha We picked 3 name combos (3 boy name combos and 3 girl name combos) when we were pg with DS and we have just kind of picked since we liked all the names equally. We have decided if it is a girl this time we will use Eleanor Rose (nn: Nora Rose) Eleanor is my paternal grandmother and Rose is my maternal grandmother and my middle name (after my grandma). We wanted to go ahead and use this one since we want to be able to honor my maternal grandma and as sad as it is we don't know if she will be around for too many more babies (we hope she will be!). If it is a boy we will use Henry Neal- Henry after my maternal grandfather and Neal after my DH's maternal grandfather- we picked this name to use for the same reason- we want to be able to honor DH's grandpa before he passes. The other combos that will be left on our list are David Aaron and Natalie Rose (which we will obviously have to modify the middle name). Neither of those names have many family ties so we don't feel as pressed to use those right away if that makes sense.

I am in love with Cora or Coralee for a girl, mn Ann since both our moms have the mn Ann. I feel like Coralee is a better sibset with Emmalynn.

I have no idea for boys. I thought we had somewhat decided on Connor Allen before we found out the gender of DD, but I brought it up to DH recently and he seemed surprised by it. Ugh, guys.

We haven't talked about anything yet. Waiting to get through the 1st u/s on Wed and perhaps 1st tri before really getting into it.

DS and DD were both huge name battles for us! We agree on very few names and both have pretty "out there" individual styles for names. There are some crazy suggestions that can get thrown around between the two of us. We won't even talk about it until we find out if it's boy or girl. No point in going to battle for names that we don't need.

I'm kind of set on middle names- for a boy, both my mom's brother that passed away very young and the grandfather DH was closest to were named James; for a girl, Leigh after my sister's middle name (my niece has my middle name as hers).

I'd like to use my mom's maiden name as a first name for a boy, but DH isn't sold on that. No solid ideas for a girl yet. We'd ideally find family names to use, since DD's first and middle names cover both of our mothers, my dad and grandfather, and my godmother, but I don't know that it's going to work out this time.

It took us forever to agree on DDs name, and we didn't really decide until after she was born (we had a "top 3" going in, but once we saw her it was obvious to us what to name her!)

We both lean towards traditional but uncommon names.

For girls, I like Hazel, Eleanor, Helen, Camille, Marion

For boys, Malcolm, Graham, Grant, Ewan

The last one was easy for boy names -- we'd narrowed it down to two (Noah or Damon) and the middle name was John (after my Dad who passed away 10 years ago).

This time -- I don't know about boy names at all. DH still like Damon - I'm waffling because people were saying "Damian?" and I don't like that name at all - but I do like Damon. DH mentioned James as a middle name (his grandfather, and also coincidentally my grandfather). I do like James as a middle name.

For girls - middle name will be Jean (it's my grandma's middle name, my Mom's middle name, my middle name and my MIL's first name is actually Jeanine so it gets her too). First name - from last time our first choice was Gillian. I think it's still the leading contender. But I do want to think about it a bit more too...
