Anything fun you did over the weekend. - We had a wedding Saturday night. It was our first night out without Callie. Yes, first time. I know. We had a blast and I drank way too much...especially considering my news this morning!
Plans for the week. - working
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. - I just love her giggles. I could listen to them all day long.
Your favorite book to read to LO. - Not sure I have a favorite. Lately I've been reading the Disney Princess Bedtime Stories book to her.
Anything fun you did over the weekend. We stayed at home and relaxed this weekend. DH did take Caleb out for a little while, so I took a nice bath!
Plans for the week. We have a playdate this morning and grocery store (oh what fun) later today. Caleb is going to daycare for the first time since May tomorrow so I can start getting my classroom ready. Then just hang out the rest of the week, enjoying the last 2 weeks of summer vacation.

Anything fun you did over the weekend - We spent the weekend at my mom's while DH was at a baseball game with his buddies. We got to see my sister and just hang out with family.
Plans for the week - Calling references of nanny candidates and hopefully hiring one, getting a physical for work, and just mentally preparing for leaving my child with anyone but myself for the first time in her life...
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now - Getting excited when I bring a banana out for her to eat and saying "Nana, nana!"
Your favorite book to read to LO - DH reads to her before bed, but on the rare occasions that I do, I like "The Going to Bed Book" or "Very Hungry Caterpiller" or "The Rainbow Fish"

Your favorite thing LO is doing right now: Communicating better. He brings his shoes over and signs for help putting them on, he points at the crib at bedtime, he signs "eat" when he wants to eat, etc. It's so great!

Good morning ladies!
Anything fun you did over the weekend. We had a good weekend! My friend came over on Saturday and hung out with DD and I, we went to the park a bunch of times, we went out for milk shakes, we swam in the pool, and we had a big family dinner last night.Plans for the week. Tomorrow we have a play date with some other little girls, Wednesday is free day at the art museum so we are going to do that, and Thursday is toddler story time at the library. Other than those plans we will just be playing around the house and I also need to get organized and do some errands before school starts. Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. She brushes her hair now when I hand her a brush - it is sooo adorable especially since she has barely any hair. She also has been obsessed with flowers, she smells them and then carry them around for everyone else to smell while making a funny little snorty face.Your favorite book to read to LO. Five little monkeys jumping on the bed. She LOVES this book and points her little finger and says "no no no no no!" telling the monkeys not to jump. And she pats her head when I say one bumped their head.

- rested and got rid of our house guest we have been hosting for 3 weeks. It's good to have some alone time again.

Saturday we had a 1st birthday party for one of E's friends. Sunday I had a bridal shower in the morning and we celebrated my mom's birthday in the evening.

When she wants to go outside she finds her shoes and tries to put them on by herself. Sometimes with her crocs she almost gets it and 99% of the time they are on the right feet too. It's super cute.

Anything fun you did over the weekend. - LO went with Grandma out of town for Friday night so we had date night. It was amazing. Dinner and a movie all by ourselves. Its been a very long time since we have done that!
Plans for the week. - Nothing special. I have signed up for 3 classes at the studio I joined to get my butt in shape. Trying to ease LO into using his sippy cup more. Attempted Sunday to ditch the bottle cold turkey and he held out for 10 hours without milk when I gave in and he got a bottle. I felt like I was starving him and it broke my heart.
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. - he is laughing so much more and its just adorable. He loves to be chased - he thinks its the funniest thing ever!
Your favorite book to read to LO. - He refuses to sit still long enough for a book. I seriously have a busy body on my hands. He never stops moving!
Anything fun you did over the weekend. We spent the weekend with my family visiting from Switzerland. It was so fun seeing LO play with her 2nd cousins who are 6 and 8.
Plans for the week. Get the house back in order/catch up on chores since we have been OOT most of the last 2 weeks.

Over the weekend we camped with my family and celebrated my birthday. It was a lot of fun!
This week I need to do some things for my BIL's upcoming wedding: get my dress fitted, buy shoes, find a suit for Vito, buy the bride some lingerie, work on some decorations I'm doing for them.
My new favorite thing is Vito directing me where to go and what to do. He will push me toward his toys if he wants me to play or toward the fridge if he wants a drink, etc. It is hilarious. He's so bossy!
Current favorite book: Little Blue Truck It is kind of long and we hardly ever make it through the whole thing without him getting "bored." I still think it is a super cute book.
Anything fun you did over the weekend. - Had to drop off SD, so we spent the weekend with the inlaws. They live on a farm, so C got to ride a 4-wheeler, pet a donkey, and swim in the river. He had a blast
Plans for the week. - swimmming lessons with C, maybe Gymboree, and DH and I are decluttering our home... step 1 to putting it on the market! Squee!
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. - I LOVE his constant unsolicited displays of affection. I get all kinds of random hugs and kisses these days. So sweet

We were supposed to go camping, but it rained. But DH helped me clean the house so that was awesome!
Plans for the week.
My spouses club has a spa night tomorrow where we'll be doing paraffin wax treatments, salt scrub treatments, getting a makeup demonstration, etc- should be fun! Maya and I have a play date at the pool later this week, and I'm hoping to hit the gym for at least 3 classes.

Everything- she's such a little ham! She started spinning in circles as part of her "dance routine" when music starts playing. She started making the "mmwa" noise when giving kisses, she is pointing at everything, and is really into stuffed animals right now- she made me help her load 4-5 animals into her arms yesterday and was running around upstairs like that!

She brings me book after book all day long so some of them are getting old- but I like Goodnight Moon and Big Red Barn (I like looking at the little details in the pictures!), Kiss Good Night is another good one.

We had a couple cooler days this weekend (and I know I'll be eating my words when it's -30 this winter) but I really enjoyed them. It got me all excited for fall and Halloween!

Plans for the week. I'm working today and tomorrow, then off for the rest of the week! Heading to my parent's Lake House. I'm so excited. My whole family will be there which only happens a few times a year. Also, we are celebrating my birthday which is Sunday.
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. She has started communicating so much more. Shaking her head for "no" (which is still cute and charming. ha!), pointing to things, getting her shoes when it's time to go outside. Signing 'more'. It's such an amazing stage in LO's life.

Fun over the weekend? It was a working weekend for us, so just a busy weekend.
The fun part is we're going camping at the end of the week, I'm so excited!
Favorite thing LO is doing right now. Walking around saying "Mum mum mum" and picking up books and reading them. As for favorite book, I don't have one yet, I just love sharing it with him when he is sitting in my lap.
I'm just so excited about going on vacation! YAY

Plans for the week. Tomorrow I work and it will be Em's first day at daycare. The rest of the week, I'm not sure yet. I can't remember what's going on.
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. She's learning so much right now. Just in the last couple days she learned how to feed herself with a spoon and is really catching on to the fork. She also started blowing her nose into a napkin if we give her one. Right this minute though, she's sitting on the couch next to me and keeps leaning over wanting to give me kisses.

We had a pretty boring weekend, DH and I went to dinner Friday night, Saturday DH went out and I hung out alone, and yesterday we just played!

We ended up busy this week, I have a second interview tomorrow, my dad is coming to play with DD for a bit on Wednesday and Thursday DD and I are taking the train into Philadelphia to have lunch with daddy and visit his office.

Hmm, I'm still loving watching DD walk all over the place. Our downstairs is a big circle - entry, kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway all flow so she just walks around it.

Anything fun you did over the weekend.: On Saturday we went to Target (my 3rd trip last week, I have a problem) and bought H an awesome blow up pool with a water slide, waterfall and sprinkler built it! He loved it and mommy and daddy may have gone for dip too.
Plans for the week.: Nothing major, just the usual. I did give in to my temptation and ordered the WEN hair care line which I should get on Thursday. My bff comes in on Friday night!! But she is literally staying over night and will be gone by 6am Saturday to fly to Georgia to see her mom. She's in town for a teacher conference and won't get to our house until late Friday but I'll take any time I can get with her!
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now.: When he is done eating he takes my right hand and places it gently on the side of his head on rests his head on it! Its sooooo cute I die every time he does. He knows I love it too because I say "Oh Harry mommy loves you" and kiss him, he giggles.
Your favorite book to read to LO.: He loves his Elusive Moose book we bought. My Husband is from New Hampshire which the moose are the state animal.
Anything fun you did over the weekend. We mostly had a much needed relaxing weekend at home. We watched lots of Olympics and took naps when DS napped. Sunday night we had dinner with my cousins and their kids which is always fun.
Plans for the week. Today is our 7th anniversary so DH met me for lunch and we had a lunch date while DS was at DC
. Have to take advantage of the babysitting you're already paying for! We don't have a lot of plans for the week, but since I cooked 5 meals for the freezer on Saturday I don't have to cook at all for the rest of the week! That is what I'm most excited about!
Your favorite thing LO is doing right now. He loves buttons, light switches, etc and everywhere we go he wants to push them/ switch them himself. We park in a parking garage every morning by my office building and his DC and when we take the elevator he insists that he get to push the buttons. Of course I have to guide his finger to make sure he hits the right floor.
He also insists upon pushing the button to close the garage door when we get home every day. And every morning when he wakes up I pick him up out of the crib and walk him over to the light switch and let him flip it on. Thinking he might be an electrical engineer one day!
Your favorite book to read to LO. I can't say that we have a favorite right now. He has about a 2 second attention span so his favorite book is whatever one he's holding for that second until he's moved on to the next... or is looking for a button to push.
This weekend I turned 30!I went to yoga all by myself.
