  honestly nothing really. I've been at least 50% since 27 weeks. Still pregnant.

  It means nothing. I was 75% effaced with the twins at 25 weeks and 50% effaced the day before I went into labor with my son. You start effacing and dialing in the third tri, most women don't know how much because they have singletons and don't typically get checked until 36 weeks

  yup- it means nothing. you are in good shape, as long as you aren't contracting. i am not sure why they even did an internal for you, unless they had reason to believe something was wrong.

  I got checked on a Wednesday at 32 w and nothing. My water broke two days later, and DS and DD were born.

  Yep, nothing to stress over. I've been 50% effaced (now more) since 18 weeks.

  They checked me because I was contracting every minute during the NST.
