Hi all.. I have been around--mostly lurking because I didn't have any news to share, but I have been trying to keep up with all your latest posts. :)

I went to Las Vegas this weekend, just to get a way with dh for a couple days and stupid AF decided to join us..today, the day we had a 5 hour drive home.  It was AWFUL.  I had nothing with me because I was not expecting to need anything til Tuesday.  And to top it off instead of my normal spotting for the 1st day, it started FULL force from the get go.  I have never been in so many public restrooms between Vegas and San Diego.  Embarrassed

The plus side is that for the 5 hours of misery I had a lot of time to think about what to do next, because this month marks my 3rd unsuccessful year of TTC and I just don't think I will be able to "get over it" afterall.

    AF showed up for me too. Moving on to my mock DE cycle tomorrow. What are you thinking you are going to do? Did DH agree to anything?

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I'm sorry Llama, AF always sucks!   Glad that you were able to get away to Vegas.
    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    Vegas sounded great but getting AF on way home must of been awful! I would just want to be home with a heating pad. Like McIrish asked...what is YH thinking on all of this?

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Inquiring minds definitely want to know where your head is!  It is good to hear the update, and I hope that the feeling that you aren't done is going to lead you to some new options.

     In the meantime, sending you lots of hugs!

    I am going to call my RE and see if I can figure out a way to get the HSG..  Dh is not 100% on board with me doing it but he wants me to be happy so he is willing to go along with it.  I just have to figure out how to pay...

    Ticker warning....

     

    Llama - just checking in on you - you know I am pulling for you!  Were you ever able to get the results form the bloodwork you have has so far?  I hope you can figure out a way to pay for the HSG.  I'll be stalking and watching for your updates!  HUGS!

    I think you can set up payment plan with these places and they don't charge you interest or anything.  It's worth to ask.

    I called and am waiting for the nurse to call me back.  Gundy, I only have some of the BW results.. After I get the HSG I will be able to meet with my RE to discuss them--but I did call and ask if there were any problems and the nurse, without going into any detail said they all looked fine. 

    As for the cost of the HSG--I am happy to report that I will be able to use this new credit card we have.  It's called "Care credit".  Have you heard of it?  We actually got it when our dog needed some emergency vet care a few months ago.  We got the card and then found out it is good for Human care too.  :)

    Yes, good idea. My insurance doesn't cover anything.  My HSG was like $1,000, I called and asked for a discount, they gave me 30% off.

    Well I just got the call to make the appt and now they are saying they can't take the credit card.  Crying  I thought I had this all worked out and got my hopes up..only to have them dashed again.  And being on CD2 is not helping my emotions.

    As a believer in signs I sure am not seeing this as a good one.  :(  Hoping to be able to figure something out...
