I feel weird answering first but, oh well. I'll start us off.
Week/Fruit Size: 9 weeks, the size of an olive.
Updates/Appointments: Nothing new to report. Next appointment is for my ultra-sound on August 14th.
How are you feeling: I have nausea, I'm tired, the food aversions are crazy! On a positive note I keep reminding myself that symptoms aren't bad and mean that little one is growing, also my tits are HUGE which DH really doesn't mind.
GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? Growing up I was never a very good reader but, I did love Curious George and Where the Wild Things Are. I own the second and have an antique version of the old Curious George serious! (I am an avid children's book collector and have two big book shelves full.)

GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? I loved Pat the Bunny, There's a Monster at the end of the book. I have pat the Bunny for my son, I need to get the other once he is older!

Another week has gone by ladies!!! So how are things going?? Week/Fruit Size: 7 weeks- blueberryUpdates/Appointments: A week from Monday! How are you feeling: tired and emotional/moodyGTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? I can't think of just one that was my very favorite! As an adult, and teacher, I love children's books so LO will definitely have an extensive collection I'm sure!

How are you feeling: Super tired! I cant believe how often I just want to sit and put my feet up. If I let myself get hungry, I get really nauseous really fast. Craving a lot of everything. I feel horrible how moody I get too - but husband and I are super excited!! First time ever being pregnant and hoping everything goes great!
GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? My fav book was "The little mouse and the Red Ripe Strawberry" lol. DD1 born 2/15/13 ~ Due with #2 on 12/27/14 (it's a boy!) {Eff you, siggy line! Why won't you center align?!}
Updates/Appointments: Next appt. is August 20th. It should have been the week before, but I go back to teaching that week, and I didn't want to have to take any time off that first day. :-) This appt. will be with the doctor. My 1st appt. was my ultrasound, meeting with the nurse, and my first round of bloodwork. The doctor will go over my bloodwork at my appt. I'm not sure if I'll have another ultrasound at this appt. or not.
How are you feeling: My queasiness was awful up until a couple days ago. It hasn't been so bad the past couple days. Boobs are sore on and off. Went up a cup size. I have ligament cramping on and off throughout the day. I'm tired, but not tired enough to sleep...resting in bed seems to work. If I'm really busy throughout the day, then I end up going to sleep a little earlier. I have been sleeping in way later than I had all summer, so I may just be getting all the rest I need then.
GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? I had many favorites. As a teacher, I have so many books that I've collected over the years, pre-k through young adult.
Updates/Appointments: Had our first appointment last week with a u/s. Everything looks great. One baby with a heart rate of 177.
Feeling: Tired and very moody. My DH would tell you that I've been a little hard to get along with. That didn't happen to me the first time around.
GTKY: I can't remember one in particular that I really liked as a child, but we have TONS of books that have been gifted to DD. I'm looking forward to reading to this LO as well. My favorite of DD's is The Circus Ship.
Hey guys! I haven't checked in before, but here I am...can't wait to get to know some of you guys!
Week/Fruit Size: 9 weeks - Olive!
Updates/Appointments: I go back for my first actual OB visit on 8/13. Didn't get to have it the first time because my doctor was at an emergency c-section, so I just got my first ultrasound instead. We have our NT scan scheduled for 8/21 - exciting!
How are you feeling: I hate to say this but I honestly feel great. No morning sickness, boobs have stopped hurting, and I feel good! I hope it lasts!
GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? I loved a really old book called Caps for Sale. I used to love to shake my finger like the man in the book and say, "You monkeys, you!" And yes, if I don't get it as a gift, I'll definitely get it for LO!
How are you feeling: Horrible. I think I'm going to ask for Zofran on Wednesday.

GTKY: What was your favorite children's book growing up? Do you own it/ plan on getting it for LO? I loved The Comic Adventures of Old Mother Hubbard and Her Dog when I was little. I bought it a long time ago for when we have kids and when I read it again, I thought "This is just the WEIRDEST book!" haha. As I got a little older, Roald Dahl was a favorite and I'm trying to collect them for when our baby is older. My favorites were The BFG, Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I've also started collecting Dr. Seuss who was another favorite. I started reading on my own at 3 and have been an avid reader since.
