I did have it...I tossed it a few months ago because the latch on the battery cover broke. I liked it...but I don't know if it is something I would have bought myself (it was a shower gift I didn't register for).

I guess you were using it before the latch broke right? Did you like it?

We were using it. And honestly I think I probably took more enjoyment than Stella did (I used to have the glow in the dark star stickers on my ceiling when I was a teenager). And it provided enough light in her room without flipping on a bright light. But with middle of the night wakings less and less, not much need for it.

Sounds like I should save my points for something else.

I have the lady bug version of it and DD LOVES it. It's part of her bedtime routine. After we read her books, she gets the lady bug down from her bookcase and turns it on. She points to the stars and the moon and changes the colors of them (has 3 different color options). It was totally worth it for us.
I don't leave it on at night. It's just part of her wind down routine. When she goes into the crib for the night, we turn it off and put it back on the bookshelf.

Why not? Do you think your LO is too young? Dont link it?
Its not enough light to use as a night light so we have to use the closet light which makes to much light in the room to see the stars on the ceiling. Plus it needs to be pretty close to the crib for him to see the stars over his head and we dont have a surface close enough to put it on. But if we did he would probably just stand up and pull it off anyway. So we just dont use it.

Dd loves it. We don't use it at night but I put it in her crib and when she wakes up in the morning she loves to play with it. My 3 yr old niece got her hands on it and loved it so we bought her one for Xmas and her mother says she uses it at night.
Another toy dd loves and plays with in the morning is my pal violet. She plays with that and the turtle until we get her in the morning.
We LOVE ours. It is one of the only things that will calm J down if he's really worked up. It is really relaxing and interesting for him. He loves trying to "pick" the stars off of the walls, floor, me lol. Sometimes we switch the light colors really fast and call it the Techno Turtle...he loves it. Haha.
My parents got one for DD for her birthday. We haven't used it yet. I think we'll use it more when she gets to a point where she needs a nightlight, this will be perfect.
We have it but don't use it at night. Ty likes to play with it anytime of day. But we don't have a need for it at night because his exiling fan light is on a dimmer and we use that as a nightlight. And, one of his walls I'd chalkboard, so black, and we have the glow in the dark stars on top so he's got those stars too!
Re: Twilight Turtle
Have it and never use it.
