for the closets? The boys will be sharing a closet & I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have them organized (for DH of course) I was thinking about ordering some, but I was wondering if it would be just as easy to make my own.
Thoughts?
Re: has anyone made or bought clothing organizers
no, I mean like these:
I made them for DD, and they were a pain in the butt to make. They cost about the same to make as to buy, so this time I just picked some up for $10 @ BRU.

Just search closet dividers. I think Etsy had some cute ones too.
lol. I haven't tried to make these, but I've seen people use those foam door hangers you can find at craft stores as well.
I would think you could make them out of thick cardboard (like from an amazon box) and just cover them in paper. Or if you want it to be more visible from the front, I bet you could use a pool noodle and slice out small sections, then slice a slit to slide onto the rod. Cover with fabric/paper.
I have these from buybuybaby and I DO NOT like them at all. The tab at the top doesn't really fit between the closet rod and the shelf above it. Also, the black writing on the green is so dark and so small, I can barely read it. Look on Etsy, they had some really cute ones that seemed much better (and cuter)
I had ones like this for DS, but it was a pain in the asz to keep it up and DH didn't put the clothes in the right spots, etc. My kids will be sharing a closet too and so I got a double bar thing and DS's clothes will be on the bottom rung with baby's stuff on the top - if I have anything to hang since I have mostly sleepers/sleep sacks for the first 2-3 months.
I got some for 4.99 at BBB. Work great and for the cost, couldn't make them
Cheaper.

My mom made these off of Pinterest :

Also, I just realized that these wouldn't even fit our closets because we have the closetmaid shelving & there wouldn't be enough room.
