I know that there are tons of people on here struggling to pay for everything that insurance doesn't cover and thought this program might really help some. I'm not a very frequent poster but my oldest has SPD and I have a rare, chronic cancer so I'm no stranger so medical bills and understand how hard it can be.
Info from my local paper:
Coverage includes treatments, services or equipment not covered, or not fully covered, by their commercial health insurance plan.
Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to help pay for medical services and equipment such as physical, occupational and speech therapy, counseling services, surgeries, prescriptions, wheelchairs, orthotics, eyeglass and hearing aids.
