do you dream feed (clicky)

So DD started to go to bed at around 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm, but she has started waking up in the middle of the night to nurse. So I'm wondering if I should wake her up to dream feed before I go to bed so she sleeps longer. What do you do? [Poll]

  • I said let them sleep & feed in the middle of the night, but the "middle of the night" for DD is 4-5am. She goes down between 7-8 and that's her only waking before she's up for the day.

  • We dream feed but it doesn't always hold off his next waking/meal.

  • Ben's last bottle is between 7:30-8 and then he goes down for the night. He might wake up somewhere after about 5 am for his paci and then he is usually out again until about 7:30 am

  • I tried the dream feed twice. The first time I couldn't get him to nurse. The next time I pumped a bottle and gave him that. It was a struggle to get him to take it, and it totally backfired on me. DS will have one long stretch at night, and after that he wakes every two hours. The night of the dream feed disrupted his long stretch, so he was up every two hours after the feed. Big mistake!
