Replacing pump valves and membranes...

How often should these be replaced? I have several sets but was wondering how often they need to be replaced? I know sometimes it affects the pump output. Thanks!

    I don't know about the valves but I heard the membranes should be replaced once a month or so.  I have been using my pump daily for about a month now and have been thinking I should replace them.  An extra set of membranes came with my pump.
