1 month pp & sharp pain in back near spinal site

So I'm 1 month post c-section & for the last 2 days I've had sharp back pain in the spot to the left of where my spinal was given. Also this am and late last night I had sharp pain in the lower right abdomen right near my scar.

Any ideas/suggestions? Anyone else experience this?

    The spinal pain unfortunately can be quite normal. I am 8 months PP and sometimes I still get it... but it goes away quickly and is relatively rare. Keep an eye on it and if it consistently gives you issues, call your OB and see what they recommend.

    As for your scar pain, make sure to take it easy (everyone is different- I recovered quickly from mine and was up and down stairs  the day I was home from the hospital). Make sure you inspect the scar daily in case there are any issues. If you smell anything, call your doc immediately. That could be a sign of infection. If you are taking it easy in bed, etc and you are still having immense amounts of pain after a month, I would call your OB. At the very least they can give you meds to handle it. GL
