When they keep rising what does this really mean? Dd has had 4 total for egg. 2.8 then 1.9 then 6.4 and now 12.1 last week. I am waiting for a call back from the allergist to discuss. Should I push to keep testing every 6 months or cut back to 12 months with this latest increase.

Re: Ige numbers
I would push the tests out to annually. Evidently LO's immune systems don't mature until they are 2 so the numbers can be all over the place until then.
Our allergist uses the 2 year numbers to bench mark against all those that come after.
My twins are 5! My baby is 3!
DS#2 - Allergic to Cashew, Pistachio, Kiwi
DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame
Ige results are a number on a scale to identify that there was indeed a blood reaction to an allergen. It does not necessarily mean you need to cut out the food from the kids diet altogether. Generally if there's no physical reaction to he allergen, the kid can continue to consume the ingredient. Talk to the doctor about cutting the food from the diet before you do.
My son rates a 4.8 on the scale to dairy, but there is absolutely no reaction to his actual consumption of dairy products. That doesn't mean he won't develop one later, nor does it mean he will outgrow the "reaction" later.
Keep in mind that kids can outgrow allergies. I agree with the previous poster, most doctors will throw out results until age 2 when the child's system has had a chance to develop weed out culprits!
