PSA- Pottermore

    What is Pottermore?

    It's a website for Harry Potter lovers.  It's where you can go through interactive sections of the book and learn new things about how it came about straight from JK Rowling.  There is a game component to it where you can brew potions or cast spells against other members, but I don't do that too much.  It does take a while to get through but the good thing is that you can take it at your own pace.  I actually did learn quite a bit about some of Rowling and the origins of some of the content of the first book.  It's only been updated through some of the beginning chapters of Chamber of Secrets.

    Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure. I like to change it to pleasure, though. I am a total HP geek. My LO will be named Fred when he finally decides to make an appearance. I honestly think he will be a ginger.

    Do you have red on both sides?

    Sort of. My generation only has one brunette despite the majority of the parents being dark haired. I have light blonde, but my brother is red-headed. DH is Scottish on both sides and has red in his beard, so it's possible, but not likely that LO will be a ginger baby.

    Well, stranger things have happened!  It seems like a lot of red is popping up in babies unexpectedly these days.  But try not to count on it right away, unless it's a true, vibrant red.  Hair can change a lot in the beginning.

    Did you know that there are red-heads in every ethnic group. It's a genetic mutation. When my bro was in Iraq, he saw red headed little kids.

    Now now, Snape was a Slytherin, and he was one of the bravest people in the stories.

    and Draco, however douchey he was, didn't sell out Harry at Malfoy Manor :) 

    Very true.  One of my favorite parts of the series was finding out more about Snape and how amazing he was in Deathly Hallows.  I was hoping for Gryffindor, but Slytherin will do.  Smile

    I am in Gryffindor. And I was fan of Snape for a long time. I was probably swayed by how much I love Alan Rickman lol. But definitely as of book 6. I went to the midnight book launch and I voted friend instead of foe! I was so glad to be right!

    Also, I don't know if it.s just my game, but I am still stuck on chapter 4 :-/ Chapter 5 isn't available yet.
