Stripping membranes at 37 weeks?

My induction is scheduled for 38 weeks and if I am still pregnant this tuesday, I will be 37 weeks at my appointment. Did any of your doctors agree to strip your membranes at 37 weeks? I am going to BEG!

    My dr did 2 days shy of 37 weeks. I saw him at like 1pm, started having a lot of contractions around 6pm, 5 cm dilated when I got to the hospital at about 9pm, no further progress around midnight, had my water broken and started pitocin, babies born just before 5am the next day at 36w6d.
