Does anyone actually use these? I get emails for week to week development of LO's and me and it suggests maternity support socks to lessen swelling. Is that a little much?
My OB suggested I could try support stockings if the swelling bothered me. But she followed it up by reminding me that I live in Texas where it's about 100 degrees during the day and I might be more comfortable with the swelling than the socks.

My IVF Journey
I had terrible swelling and was in horrible pain by the time I gave in and got some.
Dr. wrote script for 2 pairs and I went to a special medical supply store to get fitted properly. They were over $100 per pair, but insurance covered cost with small copay.
My husband had to squeeze me into them because I was swollen so bad and my belly was in the way. Once I had them on, within a few hours, omg, I was dancing in the streets.. not literally.. but the relief they gave me was unbelievable..
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.

Maternity support hosiery can be very helpful to protect against swelling and varicose veins. They are actually even more important in the hotter temperatures because the heat can have a weakening effect on the veins too.

I wish I had started using mine sooner.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking.
