We currently have a 4-week old baby. Our plan was to have her in our room until at least 6 months-- she sleeps most of the night in her rock 'n play sleeper right next to our bed, though I will nurse her in the middle of the night, and we will both fall asleep for a bit. I will then move her back into the rock 'n play.
My issue is that my baby is a VERY noisy sleeper from the time I nurse her (4am-ish) until she wakes in the morning (around 7am)-- she grunts, hums, giggles, etc. All in her sleep! It means that my husband and I are getting very little sleep from 4 to 7am because she is so loud.
I feel like I only have 2 options, and I don't really like either of them: 1) Deal with the very fitful sleep/ lack of sleep or 2) Move her into her crib.
Does anyone have another suggestions? Will she become less noisy as she gets older?

I just wanted to second this. Our LO was quite the noise-maker for the first 6 weeks or so of his life...so much so, in fact, that I worried and asked our pediatrician about it! It is important to us to have him close, so we waited it out, and he was sleeping silently before we knew it. Hang in there!
Oh, and the white noise machine is a cool idea. We never got one.
i use to wondering the same thing but my little girl is almost 4 months now im always checking to make sure she is okay because she is quiet
