if your LO is very heavy & u live in apt, how do you get them to the car? do you just carry them on your hip? use a sling? use the stroller?
whenever i'm out with her, i usually have a lot of bags etc from shopping. i'm thinking i'll just use the stroller b/c she is very heavy & i have to walk awhile to get to our parking lot
Re: for those who switched to convertible seat
When we are out I either just carry her or use the ergo. I'm not a stroller fan.
Edit to add: she weighs 21 lbs. Not sure if this counts as *heavy*
DS is 23lbs now. We live on the second floor (walkup). I use a ring sling for just about everything, but especially for getting to and from the car. I feel like I'm 300lbs when I have him attached and am hauling up more groceries that I should at once, but I chalk it up to good exercise. The sling helps free my hands up for carrying things and opening doors.
(we haven't switched to a convertible yet - but I always leave the bucket in the car bc that's realy too heavy with a chunky baby butt strapped in.)
