Bengay?

I know the 'is it safe' posts are supposed to be done after the first tri, but my shoulder is absolutely killing me. Any idea on this? Says nothing on the tube and dr. Google gave conflicting answers.

My doctor told me no, but I know other girls (in "real life" lol) who got the green light by their doctor to use it.. Sooo.. that probably didn't help at all.. Ask your doc :)

Or if you'd have to call an on-call doctor because it is the weekend, ask your local pharmacist - I love those people, they know everything! :)
  • My pharmacist said no on Ben Gay and Icy Hot.  Have you tried BioFreeze?  It uses only menthol instead of the Menthyl Salicylate that is in the Ben Gay etc. and has definitely helped me with neck & shoulder pain this week!  Good Luck!

  • Have you tried this website?  https://safefetus.com/

I couldn't find Bengay, but maybe if you try searching the active ingrediant?  HTH!

  • I used it (the kind without aspirin in it) about a month ago for a pulled muscle in my back and honestly I don't know what I would've done without it. The active ingredient in mine was mentholatum which was only applied topically. My doctor said it was fine.
