Hello!

Hello Ladies!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby the first week of March 2013. I've been lurking on this board for far longer than I'd like to admit Embarrassed But I've learned so much from you all. Reading about topics here has helped me to look for more resources, do more reading, and a lot more thinking about how MH and I want to parent and what we want our home to be like.

I was not parented in an AP way, so when my husband and I came across the philosophy a couple years ago and started doing some reading and exploring, it really resonated with us.

I just wanted to "intro" before I started posting or asking questions and again say thanks for all the great advice and information you've given me so far.

    I am a lurker who just recently started posting here. I get fab advice from the ladies on this board!

    AP just comes naturally to me. It was not how I was raised either, and I get quite a bit of flack from my mother for bed-sharing, "holding LO too much", etc.  it has gotten better lately, because my mom has seen just how confident and independent LO is. :)

    Welcome!!! AP style rocks, it's been so good to us. Every family gets into their own unique variety and it's really interesting to see the kids blossom from the love and support that is so abundant with AP! I am glad  you and your hubby found it appealing! :)
