Huggies wipes

I have always used Huggies wipes because they are my favorite, but I have been trying to find a generic brand that is just as thick and cloth-like.  Anyone found one yet? I've tried Target, Walmart and CVS, but didn't like any of them.  I would love to hear your input!  Even if it's just to tell which ones are not like Huggies.  Thanks!

I always get the Natural Care kind, if that matters - I prefer unscented or sensitive.

Re: Huggies wipes

  • At my Target, the Huggies are cheaper than the generic!  So I've never persued anything else.

Hmm, it was more than $2 to get the Target brand over the Huggies brand (for the bulk packs).  I just do not really like them.  I started with Huggies because they used to send coupons all the time and it was super cheap.  They don't have great coupons anymore though :(

  • If you are a Costco member or if a friend is.. They sell bulk packs of the natural care wipes.

  • Costco brand Kirkland is the best baby wipe IMO.  I absolutely love them and they're so cheap!

  • We also use the Costco wipes. Super cheap, but definitely not as soft and thick as Huggies wipes. But the cost savings far outweighs the benefits of such a small difference in softness/thickness. They do the job, are soft enough and save money.
  • At my costco, the huggies wipes are actually less expensive than the kirkland ones - especially if you can wait until they are offering a $6 coupon. ;)
  • There is a Pampers wipe coupon in this past Sundays paper for Target and a manufacturer so you can stack them.

  • I get my wipes at Sams Club.  Their generic brand is $0.02 a wipe, which is the cheapest I've seen.  They are very good imo, much thicker than Up & Up brand.  And I hate the Walmart brand of wipes.

this and the kirkland ones don't have parabens in them! That is an extra plus in my book.

  • I actually hate the Sam's Club wipes.  I've used two packages so far, and every package was almost completely dried out, so it was like I was wiping LO with plain old toilet paper.

  • Costco wipes - they're the best, IMO, and I've tried MANY.

  • Which Walmart ones did you try? I only used Pampers Thick Care and Huggies until I found the Parent's Choice wipes. There are different kinds of Parent's Choice wipes though. You have to get the ones that are compared to the Huggies Natural wipes, NOT the Pampers Sensitive wipes. Those ones are too thin. But the Parent's Choice that are compared to the Huggies Natural, are thick and awesome like the Huggies! I hated Target's Up & Up wipes though. They are insanely thin and see-through! Although I love Up & Up diapers.

  • Oh man I wish we had a Costco!  I would like to try the Sam's club ones now though just to see.

Bobbs420 - It has been a while since I have tried them so maybe I will look again at them.  Thanks!
