...but someone had to test out the Moby!

For full disclosure, this cat is extremely docile and always has been... And several weeks ago, she lost her sight in an accident... So she couldn't exactly see what I was doing to her; however, she snuggled down in there and purred. I think she liked it.
If I would have tried it on any of my other cats, I'd be writing from the ER right now.
It was a good learning experience because the first time, I had it wrapped completely wrong... Still don't think I have it quite right, but getting closer.
Re: I'm probably insane...
LOL! Very cute! And I'm glad you're not writing from ER, I know I would be if I tried this with one of my cats. Teddy bears, baby dolls, or a sack of flour can also be a good substitute baby.
No, you don't have it quite right. It looks like it's wrapped right (though perhaps not tight enough - it should be pretty darn snug), but the "baby" goes under all layers of the wrap. Basically, if you were naked under the wrap, the baby would be skin-to-skin with you and the cross pieces are really what hold baby's weight.
Cute
I bet at least one of my puppies wouldn't have minded.
I want a Moby too, I think... haven't found the time to do adequate research or test any out.
? Voted Cool Cat ~ 2012 Sweetpea Mom Awards ?
Well, I figured kitty is 11 lbs., and my Cabbage Patch doll isn't, so she'd be closer to a baby. lol.
I see what you are saying. I'll have to keep working on it, but I'm getting better!
The first time I had it, I had a real disaster, LOL. I think it does need to be tighter, too. I think it's also a little awkward to wrap with the bump there. Plus, my husband was making fun of me and asking if this was Biblical times, or if I was going to go down to the river to wash our clothes... ;P
You're not alone. Rocco is our official baby-gear test dummy.
It's called the Peanut Shell. I love it. They come in a lot of different patterns and are quick to put on. Plus, the dog likes it.
Bahahaha, somebody did it! Yay!
My kitties would not allow this, under any circumstances. Thanks for trying it out for all of us. Such a cute "baby"!
