I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I had a mild cramping feeling for a few days on and off about a week ago. It was slightly uncomfortable. I have NOT had spotting or bleeding and the cramping has stopped. Could this mean M/C that just hasnt 'come out' yet. I am so scared of losing this baby. It is my first child. I keep reading these M/C stories and they break my heart. I have a dr appt tomorrow but no ultrasound is scheduled.. should i beg her for one to make sure the heart beat is still there? I don't know what to do.. someone please.. im terrified..
Re: Cramping with no bleeding = m/c??
All of this. It is most likely just your uterus growing and stretching, cramping is very normal during pregnancy.
1/12/13 DD was born
4/9/16 DS was born
9/17 CP
6/23/18 BFP EDD 3/4/19
All this. Just try to relax and drink water.
ITA. Sometimes my intestinal cramping feels a bit like period cramps (which for me tended to be intestinal cramping AND uterine cramping -- yay for hormones jacking up digestion, right?). It usually resolves once I've had a successful bowel movement.
And as PPs suggested, dehydration can cause cramping, too.
This. I find tea with lots of sugar, some popcorn, and a warm (not hot) bath get it moving for me. I thought I was having a big issue earlier on, but I was impacted. Which I guess is a big issue, too. Think about the last time you went, any changes you've noticed, and if any doubt call the nurse's line. It's literally what it's there for.
I agree - probably just the changes occurring. I've had this happen too. Even though you don't have an ultrasound scheduled, your doctor will still probably listen to the baby's heartbeat. Try to relax
