I wear my own for a few nights without washing, but our son gets a fresh pair every night. Partially because he usually eats breakfast in his PJs and gets food on them...partially because right now he has quite a few pairs, so it's not a big deal.
Right now most of DD pjs are 3 pieces - 1 top and 2 pants/shorts/capris. So I do two nights in the top and one night in each bottom. The bottoms tend to be a little smelly after all night in the same diaper.

New pair every night. He usually sweats, pees a little, or gets them dirty the next morning. But than again.. he goes through an outfit or two each day still!
We don't change it that often. He gets changed into day clothes in the morning so there's no concern of breakfast dirtying it up. He doesn't have diaper explosions (obviously he would get a new one!) and pee isn't an issue. Like a pp said, with two kids we have enough laundry to deal with since their day clothes go straight to the hamper every night.
I do baths every other so if their pjs on non bath night are clean, no spit up then I will use them 2 nights in a row but on bath night I always put on clean pjs

I like to put her in something fresh. If dad puts her to sleep...it's anyone's guess. We have a ton of hand me downs, so we don't really do her laundry that frequently anyhow, and she does sweat a bit, especially in this heat.
I'm curious, though--what are people using for pjs now? I loved those newborn gowns--so easy to check to see if she's wet, seem to discourage climbing around in the crib, easy to get in and out of...but they don't seem to make 'em in larger sizes.
Lately, we've just been using a onesie for sleep. When it's colder, I'll probably start using the sleep sacks again as long as they still fit her! I guess plain old rompers will do, too--is that what most people are using?
