Affordable infant daycare

Hi All! We are thinking ahead to daycare. We are planning to place our lo at 3 months. However, many of the daycares we looked into charge upwards of $300 a week. Does anyone know of anything more affordable in KC proper? I am in the Westport area and hoping to pay more like $150 a week. Willing to travel for a great environment. Thanks in advance!

We found daycare in Lees Summit that we really liked. We toured 4 or 5 other daycare centers and found it to be the most affordable. Its called Child Prodigy. They have a north and south location. We liked the north location better. They charge $190/wk for newborns. Most other centers we checked were over $200. We thought they were very clean, seemed very nice and they open at 6 am which is pretty important to us due to my husband and I both work so early in the morning. Good luck!
