Not going on Safefetus.com anymore

in 1st Trimester

I was checking to see if I could use my nasal spray and I started checking the meds that my dr. says are OK for me to take and they are all Category C drugs.  Now I'm freaking out.  I knew that they were but my dr. explained how the benefits out weigh the risks but it still is scary to see "Studies have shown risk...."

 The funny thing is I took them with my first pregnancy and she is perfectly healthy.

 

I am banning myself from that site and I will just listen to my doctor.  (The will be my mantra from now on)

    All category C means is that they haven't tested them to find out if the meds cause problems or not.

    Metamucil is Category C, and I don't think anyone has problems from it. It's mostly a "be informed" sort of thing.

    I'm on restriction as well.  Stick out tongue I think we have to keep in mind that the doses that produce these side effects in animals are usually MUCH higher than would ever be given to a person.
