Well, I have yet to make it out to deal with bra shopping, but I am dressed (minus the socks & shoes) instead of still being in my pjs.
Almost there! You can DO eeet!
I think I'll eat something and head out to the fabric store instead (need edging trim stuff so I can finish the shopping cart seat thinger). Plus, Nordstrom's is only at the BIG mall, which is a lot further away & really crowded after lunch time (especially on Fridays during the summer) ... I think I'll try to drag DH along bra shopping tomorrow first thing in the morning. Can tell him if he doesn't go, I'll be too tempted to hit their maternity section as well as Macy's maternity section and spend lots of $$$. The threat of spending money usually gets him to tone down his shopping gripes. Plus then we'd be in the area of the good car dealerships (and his favorite computer store).
Oh, and I changed to a new purse today! Hope it holds up better than the last new purse...
I did the dishes that I have been waiting on my husband to do for like 3 days. I didn't even complain about it, though he sat on the couch and watched TV the entire time I was doing them.

I need one of those shopping cart thingers! I am trying to AVOID the fabric store though

I got up early and took a shower with DH (he's a morning "lover" and I'm soooo not... esp when preggo) and I didn't even complain... too much. lol. He left for work happy. ;-)

I bought a kit at the fabric store, but could totally be done without one. You probably have most of the items in your collection already... Needed 2 pieces of fabric (45 inches by 45 inches each), "high-loft batting" (or old towel or blanket would work), elastic & knowing where to place the holes (that along with figuring out what to do for the edges of the holes was the hardest part). If you can't find instructions online, I could scan and msg you a pdf of their instructions, but I think these missed a step or two. The fabric stores have patterns for them as well (I think one came with a bib pattern I bought last year).
I made a tag & sewed it in so I'd be consistent with which end goes up vs. down. I think it's in my photo library thing on here. Also, I was thinking a waterproofed fabric on the bottom side would be better than a plain ol' cotton for when the carts are wet from the rain or dew but had already pinned it together.

Extras for not complaining

Oh man I feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it! You're a saint!
I babysat four kids under the age of 10 all by myself with a crazy dog running around the house. Then, I didn't even take a nap. I'm proud of the little things...haha
Went to the river and caught dinner for my husband. It was loads of fun to spend all day in the sun and have something to show for it. He's pleased too =D
Re: Have you done something you are proud of today?
Good one! Very proud!
Oh! I did that too! It wasn't easy! Very proud of you as well!
Yep!
I did the kid's laundry, put away all of their dishes, swept the floors, cleaned the kitchen, and cleaned up the tv room for the family I work for.
Actually, this was my initial thought too. I didn't kill several people at work who deserved it.
Cleaning... very good thing to get done!
Good thing to manage the anger!
The bed stuff is a hard one... way to go!
Almost there! You can DO eeet!
It sucked me back in though! I did some household stuff and then plonked myself right back down on my bed with my laptop. Screw it, it's Friday.
learning from your mistakes!
Go pants!

I love all the thumbs up haha
I am actually cleaning my house I've neglected for so long and even got dinner started which involved cutting raw chicken!
You get one too!
So far I've gone back to bed 3 times, and I could completely go for one more
I did however clean the kitchen this morning and start dinner in the slow cooker.
I've had a very tired couple of days!

I called the hospital to pre-register for the infant CPR class today and found out that dh and I will be the last 2 who can get into the class.
Wohoo! Great idea - need to check on updating that!
