I finally called my adoption agency this morning as I finally lost it and couldn't take the not knowing anymore.
Of course I had to leave a voicemail.
I got a call around 1PM from one of the head social workers telling me they had officially accepted our application! All the paperwork was sent out to us this morning and we get to start our home study very very soon!
I just about peed my pants I was so freaking excited!
And I had to tell my boss today because I blurted it out right in front of her in our break room when I got the call. WHOOPS! Thankfully she was very supportive and I found out her twin sister adopted her children, so she has an idea of what we're going to go through!
Hubby and I are so pumped!

Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
Homestudy complete July 19
USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!
