Soooo...took the kids today to their 2 year old well kid check.
I was proud that we made it through the appointment with minor melt down and minor destruction of the room.
I needed to use the ladies room. So on our way out we go en masse to the rather large single person bathroom. We all walk in and I lock the door. I look at the door thinking it's a lever door and the kids might try to open it. Nah I think. They wouldn't dare.
I start to empty my very distended bladder and midstream my daughter starts opening the door. The door faces the very, very packed WAITING ROOM. I super kegeled like never before and ran to get the door closed.
OMG. I have no idea how many people saw me....but I have to reason to believe it was at least a few.
I distracted them with the toilet paper roll for the rest of my business. Then DD dipped her hands into the toilet water.
Oh geez louise. Just when I thought we had things under control.
Re: Toddlers opening public bathroom doors
I hope.
DS also locked DH out of the house a few weeks ago while I was at work.
See....infant carriers and DSNG aren't so bad.

I am convinced that people who design public restrooms have never had a toddler.
I've been victim of the mid-stream open myself - or the 'lets crawl under the stall and see what that person is doing' trick.
